Peter Davies - Guitars For Sale

Selmer Maccaferri Style Guitars For Sale

I make guitars for my own pleasure, a pesonal quest to produce the perfect Maccaferri.

As they slowly build up a difficult decision has to be made.
I can only justify having two guitars, one to play and one as a spare.

I also thought the classic Django Selmer with the small soundhole and 670mm scale length would be the ultimate guitar.
However, having made two of them I find that the design doesn't suit the needs for playing in a ceilidh band.
We often end up playing in rather cramped situations, to make room for the dancers.
The longer neck can be a hindrance, the 12 fret to the body size is more convenient.

Because of this, two of my guitars were put on sale at Hobgoblin Music, Bristol.
